How to avoid stress at work

Unfortunately “being stressed at work” is a very common problem in the XXI century. This is the reason why we should try to avoid it or at least get rid of it as fast as possible because it can have serious consequences on our life.

For the beginning, let’s see which are the main elements that create a stressful work environment:
• the lack of time management;
• often conflicts with your mates;
• the feeling that you have too much work to do;
• too many or too little responsibilities;
• the incapacity to show your qualities;
• boredom;
• the lack of collaboration when it comes to your chiefs;
• you are not promoted after accomplishing a very hard task.

Nervous exhaustion
The fact that the perfect job doesn’t exist is more than clear. No matter the career you choose or the place where you work, your expectations will diminish when you will be in contact with reality.

Instead of enjoying a full of rewards job you end by having a boring, meaningless one. After a while, stress appears and the negative feelings towards work are emphasized.

Nervous exhaustion represents a process which is characterised by the loss of interest of a person towards its job. You shouldn’t confound stress with nervous exhaustion. Stress represents a consequence of long exposure to stressful work conditions.

There are 3 signs which characterise nervous exhaustion:
1. Pessimism and disappointment concerning work because you become more tired, frustrated and bored as time passes.
2. Isolation - you start to avoid any kind of contact with your mates; you feel angry, it’s hard for you to focus on a problem and you feel very exhausted in both physical and mind aspects.
3. You lose any interest towards work, you underestimate yourself and you stop communicating to other people.

How to eliminate nervous exhaustion?
Methods in order to change your behavior and the inner mood exist so let’s take a short look on them:
• Express you feelings. You should avoid isolation by communicating your feelings to your mates. The change of feelings can reduce stress and can make you obtain a new perspective on things;
• Plan your time so that you have time a moment of relaxation; you should also try to do activities that are not related to work in the meal or coffee pauses;
• Learn to say NO, decline those extra-tasks which create a stressful mood. In this way you will feel more satisfied and self–assured because you have the chance to choose the tasks you want to accomplish;
• Develop yourself; you should take part to all kind of trainings which will keep you in touch with the news concerning your professional domain;
• Fight for success. You should look for new challenges, take risks because in this way you will avoid nervous exhaustion;
• Learn how to relax yourself - you should have a moment for yourself every day in order to obtain a positive mood. This will help you solve easier the unpleasant situations which occur day by day.

If you want to look skinner you don’t have to wear black clothes everyday. Find out how is this possible by reading these ten tips.

1. Choose monochromatic outfits and combine textures in an innovative way. It will standardize you look Avoid wearing deux-pieces costumes but try to combine textures and materials: you can match knitted work with leather or cotton.

2. The raincoat or sack coat should contrast with the rest of the outfit. The more you draw attention on it the taller will you look.

3. Wear the sweaters or coats with the buttons loosened for a special visual effect. You will obtain a neck lengthen effect by wearing blouses with “V” decolletage.

4. Any prints or stripes must be vertical as they will make you look taller and thinner.

5. Wear long scarves or mufflers and combine them with outfits of different colors from them.

How to lose weight

Every woman wants to be thin, to be admired by men and envied by other women. In order to lose weight you should try to change your nourishment habits and do as much physical exercises as possible. Try to avoid all strict diets because they will make you put on more weight. Any diet which supposes a reduced quantity of food will make you use fewer and fewer calories. The moment you will start eating normally you will put on weight faster because the body will be used to consume a little.

Don’t exaggerate in doing physical exercises while you’re on diet. You can choose swimming or walking which will make you remain active all the time. Try to sleep as much as you need. It has been proved that a lack of sleep will lead to a hormonal out of order which favours putting on weight.

Be patient and ambitious in accomplishing your dream of losing weight. The first week is the most difficult. Here are some tips in order to stay always in shape:

  • eat less, but don’t starve yourself;
  • don’t skip meals, especially breakfast because otherwise the process of losing weight will be slower;
  • eat slowly, don’t be in a hurry;
  • stop eating as soon as you feel satiated;
  • don’t eat between meals, except for some fruits in case they are not followed by other aliment for 2 hours;
  • eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, excepting those which contain a lot of starch;
  • eat less bread, pastes or potatoes; you should eat full cereals; they will bring you the necessary energy;
  • don’t mix different types of proteins at the same meal(cheese, milk, eggs, meat) and don’t associate them with potatoes, pastes or bread;
  • be careful with greases: roast, butter, eggs, sweets;
  • you should eliminate only the greases which result from animals (butter, whipped cream or cream);
  • you should eat as often as possible grill roast or boiled vegetables;
  • don’t eat sweets, especially chocolate or whipped cream;
  • drink as much water as possible, approximately 2 litres/day;
  • alcohol contains a lot of calories, you can drink a glass of red wine, but just one glass/day;
  • try to oust soda drinks.

Forever Friends

How to have a quiet sleep

A quiet sleep prepares you for the next day, energizes you and permits you to be more efficient in everything you do. Sleep is the most important for our body because when we sleep the body regenerates.

If you drink coffee the rest of the day, it won’t help unless you slept enough. It just energizes you for the moment, and eventually, it won’t let you sleep either the next night. Our advice is to drink a cup of coffee in the morning and to exclude the one you used to drink in the afternoon.

Avoid eating spicy or greasy food. If you escaped scot-free once, it doesn’t mean it will happen the same thing next time.

Avoid drinking alcohol. Although you may feel dizzy and sleepy after drinking alcohol, the chemical reactions of your body will stop you from having a quiet sleep.

Eat cherry. These fruits contain many vitamins and a special substance called melatonin, which we can find also in the human body and which are responsible for regulating the sleepiness. If you eat cherry before going to bed you will see that you’ll have a more quiet sleep.

Before going to bed you can also drink a glass of milk sweeten with honey. Both products contain a substance called tryptophan which will help you have a profound sleep.

Those who don’t sleep enough have the tendency to eat in excess in order to supply the lack of energy. All extra calories can easily lead to fatness. Also, the culinary choices depend on how rested you are. Follow these tips and you will surely make the right choices.
